Check this out in Flickr’s map view It’s mapped to where the sign was recovered, not where this actual image was taken.

Another one of shot-up roadsign photographic sculptures, commissioned by a friend who is a PhD candidate at Tulane, who provided me with this New Orleans RTA BUS STOP sign she recovered during a "Krewe of Katrina" cleanup, Februrary 2006.

Sign was recovered near the I-10 overpass at the corner of Claiborne and Esplanade between the Quarter and Treme. Again, see the map view of this location.

The sign was covered in tiny scratches going in different directions, as though it had skidded down the street at high speed, for a long time.

The friend passed the sign along to a colleague who brought it home to Oxford, Mississippi, the same weekend my wife, Melissa, was selling her pottery at the DoubleDecker Arts Festival. So I took possession of the sign, shot it full of .000 buckshot (12 ga), turned some digital images the friend sent me into 35mm transparencies, mounted the film on a sheet of white Lucite, mounted that in a wood frame behind the sign, rigged a light inside it, and painted an image of the bend of the Mississippi River that gives the Crescent City its nickname around the lower shot-group (bottom of sign).
